Overview
A social media marketing agency serving major supplement and health brands needed to scale content output without proportionally scaling headcount. Writers were the bottleneck and the quality bar was high. o1 Innovate built an AI-powered content engine that handled ideation, first-draft generation, human review, and scheduling across brands — freeing human writers for the parts that actually required judgment.
The problem
Multi-brand content agencies scale linearly with writers if you aren't careful. Each new client means more ideation meetings, more drafts, more scheduling. The agency wanted to hold its quality bar while taking on more brands — which meant automating everything that wasn't judgment work.
What we built
- Designed a content pipeline: brand-specific ideation, AI-generated first drafts, human review against brand voice, scheduling to platform APIs, performance write-back.
- Built in Airtable for the content taxonomy and review UI, n8n for orchestration, OpenAI for generation.
- Tuned per-brand prompts against real examples of on-brand content so first drafts landed close to publishable quality.
- Added a review layer where human writers could approve, edit, or reject drafts — with rejection reasons feeding back into prompt improvements.
- Connected directly to platform scheduling APIs so approved content shipped without a human copying anything.
Outcomes
- Per-writer content throughput increased substantially without dropping the brand-voice quality bar.
- New client brands can be onboarded without proportional headcount growth.
- Review-layer feedback continuously improves first-draft quality, compounding over time.
